WHISPERING GRAND DAME is a very tall 52" upright, strong scape that "Looks you in the eye." Light cool pink, it has a lavender eye, white midrib, and yellow green throat. The large blooms are 6.5" when recurved, and 10" when open, with 21 buds and three way branching. When established and allowed to set deep roots, becomes 25% polytepalous. Mid-Late season, blooms thru August. Semi-Evergreen, Diploid. Fertile both ways. Another favorite in the garden. (sdlg #115.97)
