Bright, intense red, with pale yellow edge and giant yellow/green star throat, PASSION WITH A TWIST, is a crispate with twisted, quilled and recurved sepals. The bloom is 7", on a scape 24" high. Puts up lots of scapes from each plant. Blooms Mid season thru August, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid. Fertile both ways. Has been a good parent throwing both Unusual Form and big, flat, star throats. Parent to "Fire Dragon on the Wind" and "Flying Dragon in a Red Sky". A Passion's Promise kid. Seedling 400.98.
